Capability & Scope
Metalcraft Engineering works with construction and architectural specialists to fabricate and install custom commercial metalwork across Canterbury and throughout New Zealand. Our experience spans landmark developments, civic buildings, education facilities, theatres, offices, and mixed-use developments.
Our scope regularly includes architectural façade panels, stairways, balustrades and handrails, shading systems, gates, feature screens, bike racks, bollards, and bespoke detailing in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and corten. Each element is designed and fabricated to integrate seamlessly into the wider architectural vision.
Delivery & Approach
We provide full design-to-installation delivery, using CAD and 3D modelling to resolve technical challenges early and ensure buildability. Our project managers oversee costing, programming, and coordination, working closely with main contractors to meet programme and compliance requirements.
Fabrication is carried out in-house at our Christchurch facility, with proven systems, skilled tradespeople, and rigorous quality control ensuring consistent outcomes on complex, high-value projects.
