Christchurch Polytech
As part of the major redevelopment of the CPIT Christchurch Polytechnic campus, Metalcraft was engaged as the main metalwork contractor for the new Sports & Recreation facility. The project delivered a gymnasium sports hall, weights and training rooms, administration and teaching spaces.
Our scope of work included the fabrication and installation of external shading systems, internal and external balustrades and handrails, and AC covers, all designed to combine durability, compliance, and architectural finish.
University of Canterbury
Metalcraft manufactured and installed all wall panels and handrails throughout the refurbishment of the University of Canterbury’s Engineering facilities.
The project included a new centralised core linking the existing departments, creating a home base for the College of Engineering and enhancing connectivity across the wider campus.
